Quinoa is one of the most nutritious whole grains that helps to lower cholesterol. I keep buying this on a regular basis.
I was really excited to make banana bread with Quinoa flour as it said on the packaging that it is great for baking. So it came out great out of the oven but i didn't expect it to be this good. If you put enough sugar in it you barely taste the flour. So I'd definitely say to try it out if you're looking for some healthier snack.
Very similar to other flours in its use. I made quinoa flour chocolate chip cookies with this and it was a hit! The cookies were moist yet outside had just the right crunch. The quinoa taste is very subtle yet yummy! Would definitely purchase again to try other baking recipes.
I made a healthy quinoa carrot cake using Inca's Gold Organic Quinoa flour. The results were phenomenal, the texture was not too dense and the taste was delicious with the added benefit of extra protein, for a healthier version of traditional carrot cake! Will be making again!
I used the Inca's Gold Quinoa flour in place of half the all purpose flour in my family's favourite banana muffins. I like the idea of increasing the protein content without modifying the ingredients aside from replacing the flour. There was a slightly different odour when baking, but the muffins were as fluffy as they normally are and the flavour was great. I didn't notice a "nuttiness" to the muffins, but that might be more apparent if you used the quinoa flour exclusively. Overall, easy to use as a flour replacement and delicious.
